Celebrity chef Hazer Amani, a long-time regular and friend of Kepos Balık Evi, steps into the kitchen once again. But this time, the Rice Paella and Vermicelli Orzo he contributed to our menu are not just recipes—they are the stars of a heartwarming gathering around a real family table.


On this special day, Kepos hosted more than just a professional film crew; we set a table filled with family warmth. Hazer Amani’s mother and aunt, our own family members, and the Kepos team gathered around the same table. We tasted the dishes together, shared culinary memories from the past, and evaluated the flavors over a delightful conversation.


Despite being a city without a sea, Kepos Balık Evi has spent years breaking the prejudice that "you can't eat good fish in Ankara." Especially in the Çayyolu and Mutlukent areas, it remains the trusted address for fresh fish, daily mezes, and a serene atmosphere.



Paella and Orzo: A Mediterranean Touch to the Kepos Kitchen


The Paella and Orzo featured in this video are two special delicacies inspired by Mediterranean cuisine but shaped by the Kepos culinary philosophy. Prepared with Hazer Amani’s touch, these dishes offer a modern yet simple contribution to our established meze and fish culture.

Hazer Amani has been a regular since the very first day Kepos opened; an old friend who has even celebrated his birthdays here. The most special detail of this tasting table was the people sitting in the chairs. In this evening where Hazer Amani’s mother and aunts met with Tarkan Uğur’s family, we experienced the 'boutique and sincere' service of Kepos alongside our loved ones. As much as the Chef's approval, our mothers' 'bless your hands' was the greatest certification for us.
